Rihanna Shines Bright Like A Diamond

Riri looks like she is ready for a new "Era" - new style (quite sure!), new sound and a brand new sounding song from her upcoming (already) seventh album!
A very different direction, which is NOT a surprise at all since that's what Rihanna is all about, DIAMONDS is a happy and bright song, that actually shows more angles to her unique voice and its abilities.
The song was produced by Stargate and written by Sia.

So, Riri "chose to be happy" - let's follow the girl! ;)

Pilot Reports UFO Over Arizona

this is NOT the event picture
A commercial pilot and aerospace engineer could not determine a strange activity and a glowing light that was moving inconsistently in Arizona sky on September 19, 2012 at around 7:45 p.m., based on the statement from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database which was registered on September 20, 2012.

The man and his girlfriend noticed the sound of a military chopper and first saw the vibrant light:"I said to her I believed it was the North Star or another glowing star when she stated, "No it's moving.'"

The witness called local police to report the event.

"I have never seen an activity in the sky such as this before", he said. "Only on one other circumstance did I see a light moving in the sky back in 2000, but it was not the degree of this happening. I was able to explain that activity in my mind as a possible military or government high altitude moving aircraft. I usually try to rule out sightings by making certain they are not bugs, cosmic activity, satellites, aircraft and so on. In this situation the event was longer and to rule that this was some type of UFO activity is a probability."

There are no pictures or videos of the unusual event, but the witness described every detail of what he saw that day:

"Sure enough it was moving very inconsistently within around a 10-inch diameter circle in the beginning," he said. "It was far away and regular travel distance could have been made the UFO appear very big. After seeing the moving light a number of other identical lights would come into and disappear in the sky. These others had a lot of distance than the 'main' craft. At some point the main craft settled down and very slowly descended under the skyline. The other craft dissipated as well."

some more information can be found here

Just to remind, UFO activities were witnessed in different places lately: couple of weeks ago in Melbourne, Australia, and not so long ago in UK.

Kylie Minogue Shines At The Holy Motors UK Premiere

September 18th, 2012 - the UK premiere of the Leos Carax's much anticipated drama movie, Holy Motors, starring very well-known names in show business as Kylie Minogue, Eva Mendes, Denis Lavant and Édith Scob.

The movie was presented at such big film festivals as: Cannes 2012, Festival Paris Cinéma, Festival Del Film Locarno and Rio Film Festival, and will now be playing in cinemas around the world.
UK premiere promised to be special, because the Australian singer and actress, Kylie Minogue, and French film director, Leos Carax, were there to spice up the night! :)

Kylie Minogue plays air hostess Eva Grace and is very excited about this movie, although some sacrifice had to be made and she had to "stop being Kylie" to "be believable as this character".
Kylie said: "It's good to be acting again. It terrifies me in a completely different way and I almost had to unlearn things that I just do naturally, as being 'Kylie'. So I think I had extra work to get rid of that and to be believable as this character."
(The Standard full interview read HERE)

WATCH the video of Kylie talking about her experience starring in Holy Motors and the SKY news interview:

And pictures from the premiere:

(Thanks to Iilse, Starlight111 and other peeps from Sayhey for the pictures!)

After the premiere Kylie headed to the Little House restaurant with her boyfriend, Andres Velencoso :)

Andy Murray & Serena Williams Triumph At The US Open 2012

This year's US Open Championship was full of surprises, shocks, unexpected turns of events, tears of happiness and sadness, and of course something for the history.

Serena Williams' summer one can describe as more than just incredible - after battling her injuries and illnesses, going out in the first round of the French Open, the Queen of courts is finally and fully back on top, winning the Wimbledon title in July, Olympic Gold medal at the London Olympics and now, her 4th US Open.
The 30 year old overcame the world number one  Victoria Azarenka  in the final match thriller, sailing the 6-2 2-6 7-5 victory and her 15th career Grand Slam title. And she is not done!
"Even with this win, I'm so excited still to play the next grand slam and see what I can do. Just to do more, I love that feeling".

Andy Murray's celebration is probably not that quiet either - just like the Wimbledon Champion, Roger Federer, predicted in July, Murray became the first British man in 76 years to win a grand slam singles title after beating the defending champion, Novak Djokovic, in a five-setter: 7-6 7-5 2-6 3-6 6-2.
"I proved that I can win the grand slams," said Andy, "It's something that hasn't happened for a long time obviously in our country so I'm obviously proud that I managed to achieve it."

Congratulations to the Champions! :)

She closes the show with a selection of hits accompanied by the 70 piece BBC Concert Orchestra. The set list is a nostalgic trip of million selling songs including - On a Night Like This; Can't Get You Out of My Head; I Should Be So Lucky and All the Lovers." (BBC)

*UPDATES*:

Kylie Minogue rehearsing for BBC Proms performance (7.09.2012):

The show is over!

She GOT IT, she's "wow wow wow wow"! Speechless, blown away, charmed and completely stunned!

Kylie Minogue is a REAL proof of how a little woman can do HUGE things and be in control of an AMAZING voice LIVE! From the very moment of getting on stage until the last note, last move there, this incredible singer OWNED the stage with no "trying too hard" effort, because she didn't need to do it! Natural, beautiful, effortless - she performed some of her biggest hits re-worked to (sometimes) unrecognizable level as if they were completely new songs, leaving us dancing to the rhythm, singing to the sound and clapping to the beat - it was IMPOSSIBLE to sit through the whole set!
On behalf of all the LOVERS around the world I'd like to thank YOU, Kylie, for this incredible night, our beloved musical producer, Steve Anderson, and Cliff Masterson for putting this masterpiece together!! Also Kylie's band - we love you peeps!!!
